Salary

₦200,000 – ₦250,000/month

We are seeking a strategic, goal-oriented and resourceful fundraising, Development & Partnership Officer to lead efforts in securing funding, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the foundation’s donor base.

This role is critical to sustaining and scaling our impact of improving the lives of children and persons living with congenital heart disease across Nigeria.

Location: Lagos (Hybrid)

Salary Range: ₦200,000 – ₦250,000/month, possibility of increment after 6 months

Essential 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Business Administration, Communications, Health, or related field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years experience in fundraising, partnership development, or donor relations, preferably in the non-profit or health sector
  • Certificate in grant management/writing, project management 
  • Proven track record of securing significant funding from diverse sources (grants, corporate sponsorships, individual donors).
  • Strong proposal writing, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
  • Experience with grant writing and donor reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office , excel, and fundraising tools/platforms
  • Ability to work independently and in a hybrid environment
  • Knowledge of donor landscape in Nigeria and internationally is an asset.
  • Passion for nonprofit work and child health advocacy

Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies, channels and campaigns to meet annual and long-term financial goals

  • Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with donors, corporate sponsors, foundations,  institutional partners etc to improving our funding potentials.
  • Prepare compelling grant proposals , sponsorship packages, donor reports, and fundraising materials.
  • Organize fundraising events, campaigns and donor engagement activities /events.
  • Maintain donor database and ensure timely communication and stewardship
  • Collaborate with program and communications teams to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate fundraising performance and provide regular updates to leadership team.
  • Train volunteers and intern to maximize funding opportunities  
  • Cultivate partnerships with other organization, non-profit and institutions locally and internationally to achieve our goals.
  • Develop creative crowdfunding and fundraising channels for community, individual ,corporate fundraising both online and in-person.
  • Contribute actively to marketing, storytelling, media and communication campaigns 
  • Any other assigned task within your area of expertise.
