CHDFNigeria is seeking a passionate and proactive Volunteer Project Manager & Community Lead to support the planning and execution of our programs, while fostering strong relationships within our community of heart warriors, families, and partners. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a life-saving cause, with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time staff position.

Location: Lagos (Hybrid)

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Project Management, or related field (or currently enrolled)
  2. Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in community engagement, volunteer coordination, or project management
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
  5. Passion for nonprofit work and child health advocacy
  6. Willingness to commit time and energy to a volunteer role with long-term impact
  1. Lead and coordinate community-based projects and initiatives
  2. Engage with beneficiaries, volunteers, and stakeholders to strengthen community ties
  3. Support program planning, implementation, and reporting
  4. Organize outreach events, support groups, and awareness campaigns
  5. Maintain communication with community members and respond to inquiries
  6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth project delivery
  7. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to leadership
