CHD Awareness Week 2024

At CHDFNigeria, Congenital heart disease awareness week means a lot to us, as
this helps us echo our awarenss and advocacy work. During this period, and
throughout February, the heart month, we join other CHD advocates globally to raise
awareness on the most common birth defect in the world. It is a leading cause of
infant and child death in the world, as it occurs in nearly 1 in 100 children. The
mortality rate of CHD is higher in low and middle income countries where healthcare
is poor.

Join us yearly during on 14 th of February the world CHD day, as we put smile
on the faces of CHD warriors.
