We conduct extensive public awareness campaigns and education sessions for families, communities, and even frontline healthcare workers. Topics include understanding CHD, its causes, symptoms, prevention (where applicable), the importance of early detection, and lifestyle management. We use various platforms including community outreach programs, sensitisation walks, social media campaigns, print materials, seminars and webinars, and collaborations with schools and local health centers.

Living with a child with CHD can be isolating and emotionally taxing. Our support groups provide a safe, empathetic space for parents and patients (where age-appropriate) to share experiences, offer mutual encouragement, and reduce feelings of loneliness or anxiety. We organize regular in-person and virtual meetings, facilitated by experienced counselors and therapists. These groups create a sense of community and shared understanding.

We actively engage with government bodies, policymakers, and healthcare institutions to advocate for improved funding, training, and infrastructure for pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery in Nigeria. Our goal is to influence policies that will create a more sustainable and accessible healthcare system for CHD patients. Through petitions, stakeholder meetings, research-backed proposals, and public campaigns, we push for systemic changes.

Our organization facilitates partnerships and collaborations with cardiac institutions both within and outside Nigeria to ensure access to life-saving interventions for individuals affected by heart conditions. By fostering relationships with leading medical centers, we strive to provide comprehensive care and support to those in need. We provide financial assistance and facilitate access to corrective heart surgeries and interventional cardiac procedures both within Nigeria and, where necessary, abroad. Given the extremely high cost and limited local capacity for such complex procedures, we partner with leading cardiac centers, connect families with available medical missions, and raise funds to subsidize or fully cover the costs of diagnosis, treatment, travel, and accommodation for patients where necessary.

The journey does not end after surgery. Our services extend to guiding families through the post-operative recovery phase. This includes advice on care, medication adherence, nutritional guidance, activity restrictions, and recognizing signs of complications. We also emphasize and facilitate regular follow-up appointments with cardiologists. We provide informational resources, connect families with healthcare professionals for ongoing advice, and help coordinate follow-up care schedules.

Early and accurate diagnosis is important for effective CHD management. We assist families in navigating the diagnostic process by facilitating access to specialized echocardiograms and other necessary cardiac investigations. We also provide timely referrals to experienced pediatric cardiologists and cardiac surgeons. Through our network of medical professionals and diagnostic centers, we help reduce the delays often encountered in public health systems, ensuring patients receive the right diagnosis promptly.
